What a great weekend! Horizons unlimited meeting is over.

Left Idilevo Moto camp today, monday around lunch time that is. We’ve had such great time at Doug and Pollys moto camp and just hate to leave. The sun is still shining as every day so far and it’s still around 27-30 degrees. We’ve met all these wonderful people that Jan knew most of from before when he was here with his girlfriend last year but are all new to me; Doug the motorbike globetrotter and his lovely girlfriend Polly, Terry the english guy, Andy and Debbie who sold their house in rainy Britain and moved to Bulgaria, happy Janos from Hungary with his Rakia in an olive oil bottle (very dangerous drink), David who lives in Turkey, Adrian and Oana from Bucharest, Pollys brother Ivo, Dimitry from Moscow that actually has a few friends in common with me, the unicycle guy plus all the other nice people from different countries that we met during these days. Most of all thank’s to Doug and Polly that you’ve created this place with this lovely atmosphere and nice and interesting people. Hope to meet you all again some day!

The french guy on his unicycle plans to be in Bucharest in 5 days. It’s a 2 hours drive with a normal bike! – that has an engine 🙂

Harley the dog is also amazed – or confused…

Cool guy on cool bike 😉

A happy local. All locals seemed happy and waved to us and some of the babas told us long stories and laughed and seemed very amuzed. We didn’t understand a single word, but a big smile and a laugh back is also an answer 🙂

Happy Jan

Happy puppies, and very cute too.

Motocamp Bulgaria, Idilevo

Some pics from Idilevo today. Hopefully Jan will fill in with some clever info tomorrow 🙂 Yesterday was a long day in many aspects, starting up with Transfagarasan and then riding all the way down to Idilevo, approx 500 km. And when arriving here there were beers and Bulgarian liquor and lots of laughs and it got really late too…. Life is good 🙂

Part of the moto camp

Many people are out for a bike ride together today, there will be more bikes later.

There are actually 2 Harleys in this picture…

This is a 2003 HD Sportster! Converted into unrecognizability… And Pollys father. Dough who lives here with his wife Polly just came back from a trip to Magadan in far east Russia this morning. Later this evening he showed us pictures from this long and rough trip. Truly amazing and inspiring to hear about.

Well it may not be a Sportster anymore…

Dough is trying the unicycle that this french guy has been riding all the way around the Black Sea for 4 months! He also showed some pictures and talked about the trip.

Jan is showing pics and tells about his and Eva’s trip to Faroe islands and Island this summer.
